Tram Phan Tram (TPT) is a collection of Asian-inspired syrups designed to enhance your favorite drink creations while celebrating Southeast Asian culture and life. When the business owner of Tram Phan Tram came to us with their vision for the brand, they emphasized that this was much more than just a twist on your simple syrup. It was an introduction and passport for consumers to familiarize themselves with a world so far away.

We knew it was imperative to develop an authentic brand and be detail-oriented in order to tell the right story and elevate the culture and flavors found in the syrups. We spent valuable time on our research to understand and explore the rich layers that embody Asian flavors.

The Vietnamese word 'Trầm Phấn Trầm' with its pronunciation '[ cham-phun-cham ]' displayed on a dark green background.

Our approach was straightforward yet immersive. We created a vibrant, illustrative brand pattern that introduced the ingredients, flavors, and details of Vietnamese life. Given that many of these ingredients might be unfamiliar to consumers, this pattern served as the perfect introduction to the market. We included both English and Vietnamese words with their phonetic pronunciations to bridge any language gap. Even the name "Tram Phan Tram," meaning "bottoms up" in Vietnamese, is a celebratory nod to the culture and a warm invitation.

To complement this, we developed recipe cards showcasing various ways to use these "newish" flavors, catering to those less familiar with Southeast Asian ingredients. Each recipe card reflects the bright and vibrant life found in the region, illustrating the essence of these syrups.
